A Look At Uganda

The Headwater of the Nile River

Our Family at the Nile River

There are places where you can take boat rides.

It is recommended that you get a bigger boat than this one.

Uganda is home to the Headwater of the Nile as well as
to some of the best white water rafting.

I was told that some of these rapids were a grade 5.

I took this picture from an island in the middle of the Nile river.

This is a small water fall that is coming through the island.

Kampala is the Capital of Uganda and it has a population of about 3 million people.

This is some of the local wicker furniture.

Vegetable Market.

You can find local markets like this throughout Uganda.

You normally have to negotiate for all of the prices.

Down town Kampala has many modern buildings, but you will find that there are still many people living in mud houses.

Some people use mud huts such as this one for a gathering place.
