Ministry Projects

This is how the property looked when we first bought it.

This is how the property now looks.  We have also added several rooms to the back of the church building,
and we have added on a Sunday school building to the left.

(1) Pastor Kyle Guimon brought some of the men from the Church in Soroti and they provided two weeks of free labor.  The first thing we did was to plaster the inside walls.

(2) After the walls were plastered we then started putting in the ceiling.

(3) This used to be a four bedroom house.  Before the workers from Soroti came we had already gutted the house and added three support beams for the ceiling.

(4) This is how the inside of the Church now looks.

(5) We then started plastering the outside of the house and we also extended the front porch to the full length of the house.

(6) We are now using the front porch as a classroom for our teen class.

(7) We also built an open air structure on the property.  This is our multipurpose building.

(8) We now use this building for Sunday School, French Services, and other Special Events.

(9) We also started working behind the church building.  This is where we are going to build a hallway, soul winning room, bathroom, and a room for the person staying on the church property.

(10) We have now built the walls and we have finished two of the three rooms.
The toilets are now installed and working.

It has been a blessing to see how the Lord has provided for the work here.  We did not even have enough money to buy the property.  That is until one of the men in the church here gave over $3,000.00 to help purchase the property..  Then others in the Church began to give, and some missionaries here in Uganda also gave some money for the work.  Between the free labor and the offerings that have been given the Lord has allowed us to raise over $20,000.00.  This is money that has come from just within Uganda.  The Lord truly showed me that He can provide for His work.
Since this time others from the States have also given to help with the construction.  However, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.  We are also needing to buy more property.
Our people are still sacrificially giving so that the construction can continue.  However, the work is great and the construction has slowed due to a lack of finances.  So please pray that the Lord will continue to provide the finances that are needed.  We still need to raise $18,000.00 for the purchase of more property, and we still need to raise $25,000.00 to finish the first stage of the construction.  If you believe that the Lord would have you to help with these needs then please send your gift through either our Home Church or Mission Board.  Please mark your donation as the Pridgen's building fund.
If you need a receipt for a tax exemption donation then please request one from our Church; however, if you send your gift to the Mission Board then a receipt will be automatically sent to you.
